Successful Career

I facilitated the alleviation of tremors in a 61 year old man through movement therapy, facilitated empowerment to homeless women to find jobs and permanent housing through talk and art therapies, helped adults, children cope with depression, chronic pain, bereavement and anxiety disorders through art and dance/movement therapies in hospitals and schools.  I have helped cardiac/cancer adults and children find new vocations and coping skills with less stress through talk and other therapies. Positioned hospital/in-home clients with community resources and nursing homes successfully in completion with case management. Facilitated the mental and physical healing process of a young 21 yr-old disabled male to function at a higher level of motor and verbal abilities and honored him as he was able to graduate high school.

Jean’s Story

As a Clinical Contract Expressive Arts Psychotherapist that started in 2003, I have directed dance/movement therapy programs for the Andrea Rizzo Memorial Foundation, Newport, RI.  Also worked in programs in FL, MA, ME working with special needs and cancer children in school and hospital settings, i.e.: Mass General Hospital (Boston, MA) and St. Joseph’s Hospital for Children (Tampa, FL).

As a self-employment psychotherapist and wellness coach doing workshops/programs in pain, grief life situations, and stress management as well as dance/movement therapy programs, I was very successful.

I have volunteered and became certified for Hospice social work involving professional case management.
